Dartmouth Health (DH) is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon for
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD), a critical access hospital in Lebanon, NH, which is located in the scenic, rural Upper Valley of New Hampshire. We are looking for new or experienced surgeons interested in rural practice, upper and lower endoscopy, and supporting a community. This position is part of a Community General Surgery program that includes Mt. Ascutney Hospital (MAH) in Windsor, VT, New London Hospital (NLH) in New London, NH, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH. This program allows for collegiality among surgeons in similar positions for support and academia. Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD), a member of the Dartmouth Health system, cares for more than 20,000 patients per year, with 1,400 inpatient discharges and 12,000 ED visits per year.
